Community sevice, a personal experience

The Greenwich Association for Retarded Citizens (G.A.R.C.) of Greenwich High is a assort of students implicated in interacting with disabled students. These students go to the high school as well, and look forward to proposeting to know us. Each of the students withdraw for different disabilities but they sever every last(predicate)y gather in the go for to exploit friends. This convention is tot totallyy volunteer basis for all of its members, no one has to attend. I put one across been a member of this group for the three days I lead attended in Greenwich High. Spending a clump of time with these children I substantiate learned to understand that they ar only looking to sterilize friends.         I joined this group as a fledgeling because I had worked with children with Down Syndrome during the eighth grade at key Middle School. My interest carried on through proscribed the years because of the numerous gaming times I have had, and hav e made friends with many of the girls. They each have redundant characteristics delimitate them from the others, making each of them special in different ways, just like the rest us.          out from the meetings that we have every so often to discuss activities we washbowl do, we usually do fun and interesting activities. We go out for pizza frequently because it seems to be the group consensus on what we would all like to eat. During the holidays we celebrate in interesting ways; on Halloween we have a caller where every one gets dressed and brings candy. For the Christmas season we are issue to celebrate with a fellowship at a members put forward and listen to Christmas carols, and have dinner.
