Characterization of Curleys Wife Of Mice and Man

Curleys married woman has no name and come along to non be givien no importantance. As the just now woman on the gap, Curleys married woman is lonely and sad. In the novel they dont demo women in the best matters. They treat women with contempt in the whole novel. Women seem to lead them mad and only bring disquiet towards them. In curleys wife case she seem to be all those charactierisctics. She reminices of unhappiness in her marriage because her husband seems to care superficial for her, and is actually more interested in talking more or less him self than anything else. Which seems bid something she is unaccepted to intake. She is so self-obessed and loves to talk about her self whenever possible. She flirts deliberately with the ranch hands and does shrimpy to hide these flirtations from her husband. Knowingly causing the ranch hands to suffer Curleys hot-headed, glove-wearing wrath. pull down though she is a very middling her attitude isnt close to it. She was ver y unguarded always being seen and called a tooshie and tart it must be serious to be her. Which is why I have like she preys on weakness, its the only beat she feels empowered. She is always picking on dulcifys incapacitated age, the color of Crookss skin and Lennies mental handicap. Curleys wife, like Lennie, has no ability to self-evaluate. Unlike Lennie, she doesnt have the excuse of being mentally slow. She is a women who thinks of more than her surroundings has a dream even though shes profoundly dissatified with her life. Curleys wife likes to talk about her lost opportunities. She always tells about her invite with a traveling actor who told her she could critical point their show. Also likes to talk about how she got an erect to go to Hollywood but swears on her life that her mother stole the letter. She would never realize that men werent really interested in her talent at all. Shes just self-obsessed, and unable to enunciate herself and her position honestly. It i s not coincidental that she ends up losing her life because she didnt want Lennie to peck up her hair.
